Settlement Overview
The settlement, commonly known as the Visa/Mastercard Settlement (In re Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Antitrust Litigation), alleging Visa and MasterCard overcharged merchants for interchange fees since 2005, was affirmed by the Appeals Court and received Final Approval in August 2023. The time for all appeals has passed. The parties are currently preparing for administration of the claims process.
The settlement is valued at up to $5.54 billion.

If your business accepted Visa or MasterCard payments in the U.S. at any time from January 1, 2004, to January 25, 2019, you may be eligible to collect funds from this Settlement.
